A. Location - Zimbabwe is located near the Southern tip of Africa, and in line latitudinally with the island of Madagascar. It is bordered in between many countries and is located almost centrally compared to the other countries in the Southern tip. The countries that border it are Mozambique, Zambia, Botswana, and South Africa. As for oceans, the southern section of Africa is right between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
B. Size - According to the CIA World Factbook, Zimbabwe is 390,757 square kilometers. Compared to the area of the US, Zimbabwe is about 4.8% of the United States' area.
C. Terrain - Zimbabwe seems to have a very simply physical geography. Its terrain is described as mostly high plateau with a higher central plateau backbone. Zimbabwe also has mountains close to its Eastern Border. As for bodies of water, the main attraction is most definitely Victoria Falls, which is the largest curtain of falling water if in full flood. The Zambezi River in North Zimbabwe creates a natural border from Zambia. The river then flows into Lake Kariba, which according to the CIAWFB, forms the largest reservoir by volume.
